ANGELIKI'S HOUSE
KALAMOS
Accommodation for up to 5 persons, with 9 metre heated pool.
From the terrace and poolside of Angeliki's House, high on the hill above Kalamos,
you have the most stunning views across the southern end of the Pagasitic
Gulf. To your left, the peninsula curves round, with the marble mountain of
Tisseon Oros enclosing the waters oof the Gulf, before dipping gently into the
sea, where it spawns a string of small islands against a backdrop of Mount
Yerakovouni, far off on the mainland.

Angeliki's is a modern House, built by its English owners in the
traditional Pelion style. The living areas are light and airy, and the exposed
roof-timbers of the kitchen and sitting-room areas are of chestnut from the
mountain.
From the terrace one enters the large, open sitting room, divided
from the kitchen by a bar; the dining room leads off the kitchen.
The sitting room has a large wood-burning stove, and is comfortably
furnished with bamboo chairs and a settee. There is also a TV,
and hi-fi.
The master bedroom with double bed has its own en-suite shower-room/WC, while the second shower-room/WC is situated next to
the second bedroom.
This is furnished with a single bed and a full sized bunk bed, so providing accommodation for a family of 5. Each bedroom
is air conditioned,
and there is ample cupboard and drawer space.
The House has been finished to a very high standard, with white
crystalline marble floors in the living areas, and wooden floors
in the bedrooms, while the bathrooms are marble tiled throughout.
The kitchen is fitted with fridge, and a gas oven and rings, and
is fully equipped with cooking utensils.

Outside, there are terraces around three sides of the house, with wonderful views form the front terrace,
and from the poolside. Behind the pool, and looking across it to the view of the Pagasitic Gulf, is a covered,
stone built arbour for al fresco dining.
A footpath leads down from the house to the waterfront
at Kalamos, and the downhill journey takes between 10 and 15 minutes. For the
return, however, you should allow at least double the time. There is also a
rough but perfectly drivable track down to Kalamos, and we recommend strongly
that guests should have their own transport.
