TASSOULA'S HOUSE

For years before moving to Volos, Tassoula and her husband Yeorgos
lived in this House, and so, fully furnished and beautifully maintained, it
has all the warmth and comfort of a home. The large sitting/dining room,
centred around the open fireplace (which also runs the central heating
system), is comfortably furnished with sofas and easy chairs. If you plan to
cook, the kitchen contains all you could possibly need. Fully fitted with
cupboards above and below the work surfaces, the kitchen is equipped with a
full-sized electric oven and extractor, a large fridge and a dining table.
The main bedroom has a double bed, and ample built-in wardrobe space, while the
second bedroom has twin beds, and a full sized wardrobe. For the use of a
child, one of the settees in the sitting room can be turned into a bed. The
master bathroom is fully tiled and is equipped with bath tub and bidet in
addition to the shower, WC and wash-hand basin. There is also a second
bathroom, with shower and WC.

Outside, Yeorgos is clearly as proud of his garden as Tassoula is of her
house. A riot of colour even late into the summer, the garden is filled with
roses, geraniums, dahlias, chrysanthemums, and a variety of flowering shrubs,
in addition to having all the summer vegetables. But the best of all is the
vine arbor, shading the whole of the west-facing side of the house, and
offering a cool retreat at even the hottest time of day.
Although less than five minutes from the beach and the Horton waterfront,
Tassoula s House is off the road and surrounded by orchards and open fields.
It is also fenced, making it ideal for children.
Finally, Tassoula's has been fitted with oil-fired central heating for those cooler early- and
late-season visits. The House is also available for winter holidays.
