At SMART PROPERTIES we offer a selection of houses and land for sale, primarily in this quiet and beautiful area of South Pelion. Occasionally we offer properties elsewhere in Pelion,
and in the Sporades Islands.

Smart Properties is run by the husband-and-wife team of Tim and Aphroula Smart,
and is an offshoot from the tour operating company, Houses of Pelion Ltd,
that we started soon after moving to Pelion with our two young daughters in 1984.
Over the years a growing number of our clients who came with us to Pelion on holiday expressed an interest in owning a house
here,
and at the same time many of our Greek neighbours asked us if we knew any foreigners who might want to buy into the area.
So we started by putting one in touch with the other, and over time this has developed into a fully-functioning,
Greek-registered Estate Agency.
In addition to our giving total support throughout the purchase process, we use the services of an extremely competent,
English-speaking lawyer in Volos, who is expert at carrying out the necessary searches, and in keeping the paperwork flowing.
We also work with a highly-regarded notary for the finalisation of the contracts.
Once the purchase is complete, we offer a full renovation and repair service; as we have built a house of our own in Milina,
and have successfully completed a number of renovation projects for clients, we know all the local craftsmen,
and the suppliers of building materials. We can also call on local architects and engineers,
who are completely up to date with all the current local building regulations and requirements.
